March Favourites

Hello lovelies!

These past few weeks have been quite overwhelming, especially in terms of school work, so I've neglected this blog just a little. Holidays are coming up though so don't worry, I'll be blogging my butt off!!

I didn't really use any new beauty products in March, so my favourites are a little different!

PUBERTY BLUES

I'll be the first to admit that Aussie TV is usually absolute bullocks. So, I was sceptical of Puberty Blues, it seemed quite dull. BUT needless to say, I spoke way too soon. I watched one episode and was hooked.

BEYONCÉ - SUPERFRUIT

I was speechless after watching this for the first time... It is literally perfection.
Their voices are out of this world. Everyone needs to hear this.

REBOOT YOUR LIFE JUICES

JUICES. I love them. But, it is a bit of a hassle to get out the old juicer and make them yourself. That is why I was so thrilled when I found this brand in the veggie section of the supermarket! Their juices are under $4 each and taste incredible. Plus, they are great for your complexion, immunity, cholesterol, energy and blood pressure. There are heaps of different juices, but these three are my favourites. Yum!

February Favourites

Hello munchkins! I had a pretty fab February, quite busy though I must say. Hopefully March will be a bit more chilled. Moving on... here are my February Favourites! Enjoy!

FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC - VIRGINIA ANDREWS
I've not finished this book just yet so I can't give you a proper review, but what I can tell you is that I simply haven't been able to put it down! It's a fairly old book and definitely keeps you on your toes, and I was engaged within the first few chapters, which is something I really love in a book.

LES MISÉRABLES SOUNDTRACK
The movie is flawless and so is the soundtrack. I've been listening to this soundtrack non-stop, some of my favourites are 'One Day More', 'A Heart Full Of Love' and 'On My Own'. The theatre production will be in Australia later this year, and I absolutely cant wait to see it!
GARNIER BB CREAM
This BB cream is my saviour on a school morning. I don't need to bother wasting time (that could be spent sleeping in) by putting on moisturizer, concealer or foundation, I just slap this on and go! It feels wrong skipping so many steps but, what can I say? It moisturizes, lasts the whole day and looks great!

CUTEX QUICK N GO TOP COAT
This is the absolute best top coat ever. It not only adds a lovely shine, it protects the colour like no other top coat I've tried. It goes without chipping for at least one week. It's not expensive, and works a charm, so I definitely recommend it!!

January Favourites

Hi everyone, here are some things I've loved this January!

THE BODY SHOP BODY BUTTERS
Oh how I love the Body Butters from The Body Shop! These are the three I've been loving most - Pink Grapefruit, Mango and Moringa. They smell amazing, even once they are on. They are absorbent and make my skin feel soft and nourished. I'm always carrying at least one in my bag!

ST. IVES APRICOT SCRUB
This is one of those scrubs that make a difference to your skin instantly; even after one use my skin felt smoother and cleaner. It's fantastic! I try to use it once every three days and the long term effects are even better - my face and pores look much clearer, and my skin is noticeably softer.

CHAPSTICK LIP CONDITIONER
My lips became very chapped during January and this Lip Conditioner was my saviour! This is by far the most conditioning and moisturizing lip balm I've ever used... trust me when I say its a godsent!

FROZEN
The flawless soundtrack and incredible characters... I couldn't help but fall in love with this movie. My whole family came along to watch it (kind of un-willingly) and left the cinema with massive smiles on their faces! The storyline is so powerful, yet quite easy to understand, so it suits all ages. I have a feeling I'll be listening to this soundtrack for a long time!

SALUTE - LITTLE MIX
I've always been a big fan of Little Mix, right back when they were in the X Factor UK! They did not disappoint with this album; I felt it was a big step up from their first - 'DNA'. The songs range from upbeat, fun songs like 'Move', to slow, emotional ballads like 'Good Enough'. I definitely recommend listening to this album!

What were your 'favourites' this January?
